We have a group of first aid/medical trained staff who have a background in HM Coastguard Rescue, Mountain Rescue, Swift water Rescue, Wilderness First Aid and Outdoor Pursuits instruction. Utilising skills and knowledge from these backgrounds we have found that we can provide specific rescue cover and advice to clients. A recent example of this was the Llandysul River Festival where the company provided first aiders and ambulance crew as well as people stationed along the riverbank with rescue throwlines and equipment ready to intervene in any incident. The company is looking to develop S.A.R.U.
as a full specialist unit, initially for swift water and marine operations and
events with the additional equipment and training required, hopefully within the
